What a great video!  And what perfect timing!

We're just starting out on an adventure...or really, we're just on the cusp of staring out on a new adventure.  And I truly envision this to be a hap-hap-happy adventure.  So what better than a song called "happy" to be the theme song for our next year.  Aw heck!  The theme song for the next decade or so - why not?!

Cookie

Cookie Monster's got it right.  Cookies do make the moment more pleasant!! 

 

Living in the migraine capital of Canada is not all fun and games. I've been slogging through a headache for the past few days (yes, days) and sitting down to my own little Pity Party with a cuppa tea and a cookie is just the thing to brighten my afternoon. 

 

And a snuggle from my dog doesn't hurt either.

I already feel better.

 

Naps

Oh how I miss napping. 

 

With all the busy-ness of Spring I've missed out on naps since .....January?!! WTH? 

 

I can't blame it on Spring then, since it's only just barely arrived.  Must be all the planning and prepping and organizing I'm doing for the upcoming transition.  I foolishly think I will be able to nap afterwards, but there will be renovations, and unpacking, and all sorts of busy-ness that excludes nap time for Shelly Belly. 

 

How sad.

Winter

Some people really like cold weather.  I am not one of those people.  My street is covered in ice and snow, and I have no desire to go outside.  Wish it was summer again and I could complain about the heat while I shop for building supplies for the renovations at our house.  Instead, I'm looking on Pinterest and dreaming about winning the lottery.
